You Are Perfect


This meme brings a chuckle, but at the same time one does not go to yoga to become flexible. Go to yoga because it makes you feel amazing. Practicing yoga automatically enhances integrity, because afterwards your energy is heightened, you are abuzz. You are lifted therefore, lifting all who surrounds you and allows the opening for you to be an inspiration. Practicing yoga gives you a chance to release anxiety and stress and grants you the opportunity to take the weight of the world off your shoulders and give your worries up to a higher power. Practicing yoga encourages breath to flow. Moving your body with your breath and really connecting and recognizing the relationship between breath and body. Yoga may make you more flexible, it may tone your muscles, and you may lose weight. However, these are just added bonuses of a regular yoga practice. Never be concerned that your body is not flexible enough, skinny enough or does not move or look the way you think it should. Life experiences create our bodies to be the way they are. Embrace your body, whatever the shape or function. You are PERFECT just the way you are. Changes can happen, you make change happen, but that does not mean you are not already in a state of perfection. Namaste:)
