What is Reiki Good For?

If you don't know you're not alone. Through the oracle of Google and Social Media, many people have heard of Reiki, but they don't really know what it is or how it can benefit them in their daily lives or healing process.

What is Reiki? Reiki, along with certain frequencies was introduced in the early 1900's in Japan by a man named Mikao Usui, but he is by no means the one who started the laying on of hands. Jesus used Reiki to heal. So, just sayin', it's been around for a while. Rei - Universal Life, Ki - Energy. Reiki is universal life energy. Something that is available to us all. Reiki healing, Reiki massage, hypnotherapy with Reiki, guided meditation with Reiki, yoga with Reiki (all of which In One's Element offers) is simply infusing universal life energy into a healing practice. A Reiki practitioner has been trained to channel this universal life force from surrounding pure energies into the client. As far as myself personally (and many other Reiki Masters), I not only channel energy into, but clear the yuck energy that can get stagnant inside the body, from physical accidents to mental and emotional pain, get chakras balanced, and create an energetic flow going throughout the entire physical and energetic system.

Why is energy flow important? When there is a buildup of stagnant energy within the body, blood moves slowly through the area, nutrients and oxygen are not as readily available and over time pain, sickness, disease, depression, etc. can set in.

What is Reiki good for? Quite frankly I can't think of a single thing that Reiki isn't good for! I could list off a bunch of illnesses, disease, mental problems, emotional issues, yadda yadda, but that would be limiting. Pick a physical, emotional, or mental problem and Reiki can help. Whatever you have going on from general stress to a debilitating issue, Reiki healing can benefit you. We at IOE have started blogs about specific issues that coincide with specific conditions which you can browse here.
